Compose a passage of writing on an issue that really annoys you…………

As expected, Monday morning has arrived and I am about to experience the monotonous journey of travelling to work. I am certain that I could calculate this in terms of weeks, months and even years. I have been making this ghastly journey for the last three years, eight months, and twenty days. Can you sympathise? It’s ghastly because it smells, it’s slow and it’s sickening. It’s these three things and much more that make this the worst experience of my life.

I cannot tolerate the smell, but I can locate its origin. One person is responsible for it. I name him moley man. He presses himself against the chair and his victims- also known as passengers. He looks at me like a corpse with a dead expression.
